If your Stansfeld Scott (SSI) order is received with damages, shortages, or overages, please report the issue immediately to your Logistics Coordinator, with copy to your Stansfeld Scott Sales Representative. 

Please include these documents and details when reporting an issue:

  • Stansfeld Scott invoice
  • Bill of Lading
  • Photos of damaged good or possible tampering (if applicable)
  • Applicable freight invoices; export and inland
  • Attach any other documents that support the claim
If an insurance claim is required, it must be filed timely. If insured via SSI, we can assist in filing the claim on your behalf. Note insurance companies typically require damaged goods be retained for presentation at time of settlement.
